Wow, what a great inaugural event we had in 2009! And it’s time to start planning the second!
Here's all the info you need Registrations are open for the second BMW Eco 1000 Challenge, where you get to explore South Africa in a way you never dreamed possible.
Over the next few weeks, several hundred BMW GS riders will plot and
plan combinations of on- and off-road routes to ensure they achieve the
most scenic, most incredible or most challenging route, depending on
what they want to get out of the event. All this planning will
culminate in an adventure of a lifetime from 17 to 19 September, with
riders travelling our magnificent highways and by-ways, leaving from
five points and eventually all meeting up at Gariep Dam for a
celebration of kindred spirits.
Last year was truly magical, as you can see from the feedback and
pics. So get the low-down,
find a team mate, join our Twitter and Facebook feeds, and register!
